The Yankees will play Frank Sinatra’s model of the “Theme From New York, New York” solely after house wins as an alternative of all video games within the Bronx, going again to the unique customized set by proprietor George Steinbrenner in 1980.

The Yankees stated gamers and employees had been bored with listening to a celebratory track following defeats.

After Sunday’s 4-0 spring coaching loss to Detroit at George M. Steinbrenner Subject, the Yankees performed Sinatra’s 1966 recording of “That’s Life,” a 1963 track by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon.
