Juan Soto hits a 426-foot house run in his first at-bat for the New York Mets

Juan Soto homered in his first spring coaching at-bat for his new crew, hitting a solo shot to left-center subject within the first inning for the New York Mets towards Houston on Saturday.

Soto signed a report $765 million, 15-year contract this offseason, transferring throughout New York from the Yankees to the Mets. He hit second within the order Saturday, between Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso, and drilled a 426-foot homer on a 2-1 pitch from left-hander Colton Gordon. The next inning, Soto drove in one other run with a groundball.

Soto entered Saturday’s recreation with a profession .302 common and 13 house runs in 86 spring coaching video games.
