Girl slashed in Higher East Facet subway station: NYPD

A lady was slashed through the Monday night commute inside an Higher East Facet subway station, in line with the NYPD.

The 28-year-old sufferer was slashed within the face on the 86th Avenue subway station close to Lexington Avenue, police stated. The assault occurred round 6:25 p.m.

Police stated they acquired a report of an assault and upon arriving, discovered the sufferer. Paramedics have been capable of transport her to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Middle the place she is reportedly in steady situation.

The suspect ran from the scene and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

It is unclear what might have led as much as the assault.
