Authorities are battling a raging wildfire in New Jersey’s Passaic County, a smoky line of flames that had devoured 90 acres and counting as of Wednesday.
New Jersey’s Forest Fireplace Service stated in its early replace that the so-called Buckabear Wildfire in West Milford Township was 20% contained, a marked enchancment from their final announcement. At this level, no evacuations have been ordered and no constructions are threatened.
Forest Fireplace Service hearth engines and floor crews are responding. Clinton Street is closed between Goldfinch Lane and Van Orden Street to facilitate firefighting efforts.
Individuals who stay within the space and have respiration points are suggested to restrict outside publicity and preserve their home windows closed to mitigate the smoke.
