2 courtroom officers stabbed at Manhattan prison courthouse: Sources

Authorities are investigating after two courtroom officers had been slashed or stabbed on the Manhattan prison courthouse Monday, in keeping with two regulation enforcement sources acquainted with the incident.

A suspect was taken into custody after the assault on the officers at 100 Centre Road, the supply mentioned. The assault occurred close to the doorway to the constructing, within the entrance foyer space.

In accordance with the sources, one of many two slashed courtroom officers had cuts to his face. The opposite had cuts to his neck. A 3rd courtroom officer was injured when sources say the suspect threw him right into a barrier as he bumped into the foyer.

All three injured officers are anticipated to be OK.
